Edited Volume on “Innovative Waste Management” (In association with ICWM-2025)

Dear Researchers,

The Department of Biosciences, Manipal University Jaipur, is pleased to announce a forthcoming edited book on “Innovative Waste Management”, to be published with reputed international publisher, Springer-Nature. This volume is being launched in conjunction with the International Conference on Waste Management (ICWM-2025), scheduled for 11–12 November 2025 at Manipal University Jaipur.

This book aims to compile cutting-edge research, sustainable practices, and novel technologies in the domain of waste management, providing a comprehensive reference for academia, industry, and policymakers.

Suggested Themes (but not limited to):

• Waste-to-energy technologies and sludge valorization
• Circular economy and resource recovery
• Sustainable municipal solid waste management
• Biotechnological interventions and bioremediation
• Industrial and hazardous waste management
• Plastic waste reduction and recycling innovations
• E-waste management strategies
• Policy frameworks, case studies, and societal impact

Important Dates:

• Chapter Proposal Submission: Open
• Full Chapter Submission: October 30, 2025
• Acceptance Notification: November 30, 2025

Submission Guidelines:

• Chapter length: 6,000–10,000 words (including references) including 4 tables and 4 figures.
• Format: As per publisher’s guidelines (to be shared after acceptance)
• All contributions will undergo a rigorous peer-review process
